KIRKPATRICK ITEMS -- The funeral of Maggie, daughter of Wm H. and Elizabeth Ermentrout, was one of the largest processions ever in the community. Most powerful, effective and pathetic discourse by Rev. Bailey and Bowers at the White church and interment at their own family burying ground. Maggie was twenty years of age, joining the M. E. church in early life. She was a most consistent member and was one of first and brightest jewels of the Fair View Sunday school. It can be said that she was the fairest on earth of all I knew
